A special event held to honor the Chancellor’s Circle of high paying donors, loyal alumni, faculty, staff, and community members at UNCSA, this 2024 dinner also commemorated the Film School’s 30th anniversary! With the direction of Special Events manager John Bowhers, and the guidance of resident Costume Shop Manager Molly Doan, I pulled and styled two looks inspired by Cavalier era pirates and swashbuckler movies of the 1930s. I attended the dinner where the hair and makeup team, fellow costume design student Inga Domenick, and I emulated what it is like to be on a film set by pantomiming last minute touch-ups to the actors.
