About Aman
Aman Mundle is a costume designer, wardrobe dresser, and artisan based out of New York City and Washington, D.C. Their interest in costuming stems from a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling and a knack for identifying where it intersects with the worlds of fashion, history, and human psychology. Aman’s artistic perspective is also heavily informed by their upbringing in the diverse and vibrant culture of Washington D.C., and a love of the humanities. They are highly meticulous and take pride in crafting the most minute of details. Aman has experience in garment construction, and possesses a variety of specialized skills, including hairstyling, jewelry making, and distressing.
Outside of costumes and design, Aman has a deep passion for mental health awareness and destigmatization. They hope to work towards merging their love of the arts with that of psychology into a career where they can play a role in making the world a more accessible place for those living with complex neurodivergences.
When they aren’t working in their studio, Aman is also a devoted cat parent who enjoys hosting board game nights, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
